I have a 6" superlift kit. The kit doesn't level out the truck like some of the pics of some of your trucks. I don't want to run the torsion bars out all the way, for the quality of the ride ofcourse. I had a ready-lift leveling kit prior to my lift. I still have the leveling kit in the garage. Here is the possible stupid question. Can my leveling kit be added to my 6" superlift kit to level out my truck????? Mind you, this is not neccessity, right now. I haul a work trailer which pretty much levels the truck out when hauling. Eventually, this truck will not be used for work; a level truck looks better, to me anyway.

How is the rear of you truck lifted. If it is blocked up could you not shorten your blocks some. I assume you could use the ready lift with it but if it were me i would try not to.

I agree....do not put a torsion key leveling kit on with a suspension lift....you will tear the truck apart and have an unsafe vehicle!!! Cognito is the only kit that I know of that you can couple with a lift...however, to do things right is never cheap...
Just remember that the leveling kit is going to cause your CV shafts to be at an angle that will cause them to have a very short life and run a big risk of snapping them when running 35" off-road (Just carry a backup) I do speak from experience.
I had a 03 with the Cognito 10-12" and 39" with all the Extra's from them. Never broke a shaft but was also running the kit at 11" and the center section was dropped a full 11" with the kit..
Most of the other Lift Kit manufactures only drop the center section 4-5" on a 6" kit so with it being level you could be running your A-Arms at a full 2-3" higher than stock causing an angle that is bad in combination with the power of the D-Max.
All the level kit does is turn up your torsion bars, the A-Arms just fix the bad angle on the upper ball joint and keep it from wearing out. A lot of the aftermarket torsion bar keys just re-clock the Cog putting more preload presure on the torsion bars earlier giving you more lift with less turns on the bolt.
I would recomend just leaving it how it is and just turn your torsion bar bolts up a half or one turn at a time and drive at least 5 miles between adjustments to cause the truck to settle and you will have it level in no time without causing a bad angle for the CV shafts. Just don't turn them all the way in make sure you about 2-3 turns from cranking the bolt all the way in and you should be fine.. Also the Cognito upper A-Arms would be a good choice if your doing this just to keep the stock ball joint from going bad after 10k miles.

I agree, I had a 4in. rancho kit on my 01 D-max and then put a leveling keyway in to bring the total up to 6in. It lasted for a little over a year like that. Then I had to have both upper ball-joints replaced both the pittman and idler arms and the driver side wheel bearing. I wouls just do what pinko suggested and give the factory t-bars a turn or two and see if that helps it a little.

I appreciate the help; as of right now, the lift alone serves its purpose, but when I decide to stop using it as a work truck hauling my trailer, I'll probably be looking for a 8" lift with 37"s. Just one that levels out the truck. I didn't do enough research when I had the superlift 6 installed.

Did a shop do the lift install? A out of the "BOX" kit like Superlift should have the truck sitting level after the install. As you know that these trucks are IFS's that use torsion bars and adjusters "keys" to raise and lower the front hight. I would check the adjusters and the space between the UCA and frame stop to see where you truck is set at. If you are looking to obtain a level stance you might be able with the parts on the truck now. For reference a truck that has a factory UCA you should have about 1.5" of moving space between the UCA and frame stop to maintain ride. If you have more than that and have room to adjust higher on your keys adjustment bolt then you can simple raise the from alittle more. You will need to re align your truck again. Here is a pic of the area that I am talking about:
The less space the worse the ride, faster the UCA drops out and hits metal to metal.

Yes it was installed by a shop. The truck more or less sits like it did when I bought it, approx. 1.5 to 2" lower in the front. I'm not sure exactly what superlift kit was used. I was just told that the more the torsion bars are adjusted out the rougher the ride. The truck rubs on the right side when I turn hard and hit a bump like backing into the driveway, hopping a curb etc. I don't really know a whole lot about these suspension lifts, so I'm not really sure how to remedy the situation.
