LMM Reflash

I got my truck reflashed last week and the truck runs about the same but out of nowhere my windshield wipers and fluid come on and keeps spraying fluid and the only way to stop it i have to turn off my truck. i was wondering has anyone else been having the same problems or know whats causing this? i guess i might have to take it back to the Chevy dealer and let them fix the problem!

Are you sure the heated windshield wiper fluid button wasn't pushed? It sounds just like what happens when that is engaged.

Where is that button located and what usually happens when you push it?

On the dash, belows all of the A/C buttons. It is rather low and have to kinda look for it. If it is on, there will be an orange light on it. It does exaactly what it says, it heats your windshield wiper fluid so when your windshield ices over you can easily melt the ice.

Yes, to the best of my knowledge. Since I bought my truck in March I haven't used it yet, and living in South Carolina, I rarely will, but I have accidently pushed it and it stayed on for some time.

Yes, it will stay on until it is turned off. It will heat up the wiper fluid, spray it, the wipers come on and as soon as it has heated up some more fluid it sprays it. If your windshield is frosted/iced over it works great. If you accidently turn it on by having something sitting on the console slide into it, it can be confusing/aggravating.

The heated windshield wash is definitely a neat thing for Canadians and northern State people and the first time I used mine, all the steam from that warm water hitting the windshield was sure weird.
The thought of a LMM reflash makes me sick as the fiasco I suffered with the 6.0 Navistar garbage that came with my 04 Ford. You buy a quiet diesel, it dies, get it hauled to the dealer, reflash, a noisy stinky, engine is given back to you. Repeat this a few times you know what I think of Navistar and Ford.
