OK guys here's the deal I am in the market for a new truck. I have been dealing on a 07 max, and I feel like they are shoving the truck down my throught. I am looking for info on what a realistic price should be for a 07 with a msrp of 48000. I have also found an 08 that has it all and thesticker is 52,135.00. What should I tell them I want to pay??? I was thinking 15,000 off would be good. Am I way off here??? Any help would be great. Thanks Mark

The 07' should be in the low to mid 30's . The 08' should be in the low 40's. No matter what they say, they aren't selling anything. The 07' is still there, they are flooded with 08's and the 09's are around the corner. What's that tell ya!
Ya ^^ true that!! If you can hold out, I'd wait a couple months til the 09's start comin in. Then they'll REALLY want to get rid of any left over 07's. Heck they might just pay YOU to take it off their lot LOL!!! If a truck has been sittin there for two years and hasn't sold, then you've got some real leverage. I'd go after that one once the 09's come in, and man, it'll probably be amazing the deal you can get on it.
I got an 06 loaded with everything for 25,000. It had 78,000 miles on it but everything was in good shape, and that also included a service agreement for full service every 1000 miles up to 120,000 miles. Lowball the crap out of them, everyone is scared to death the bottom is going to fall out of the market more so than it already has. So far my diesel is holding it's value but the 07 gasser I traded in has already dropped 3,000 in the last month and a half.

there selling loaded CC/SB 08's here for 36-37K !!! they will come down, believe me!!!
You got a link or website with those deals?
I spoke with a couple dealers in New England, one offered me an "pre-owned" 07 CC LTZ with 18K miles for $46K
and new 08s with only the standard GM discounts.
None of them seemed that bothered about actually trying to sell me a truck.

Planned Mods - rip the bed box off it and install custom doghauler.
Sticker on mine was 53,083. Reduced to 41,800, offered 37,000, Guy just laughed, I left and he called me 2 days later and said 38000, I said 37,000 or Id go look at something else. Called again the next day and told me to come get it for 37000.
