how to nagotiate pricing on new truck?

guys how do i nagotiate? i will prolly buy right before the 09 come in
this is stupid but some tips would be nice
if i could really get it down ill get a ltz!

My best ploy is to go in there and not act all excited about getting a new truck. I also be sure and bring up I do not need the truck as much as they need a sale. If they do not seem to want to help I just get up and start walking out. They usually catch me before I get to the door.

Atleast 10k, i got 9k off last year on a 42k truck. ANd they need to sell worse now.

I would almost guess 12-15k off.

can a chevy dealer give me a gmc if it has options i want?

Im not sure about chevy dealer selling you a GMC, but i dont think they can unless sell both, and i imagine you could get that truck for 38k if not even less.

I would test the water first but I would not let them go until they dropped at least 10k off MSRP. It looks like a really nice truck.

OH I also make the dealer pay TT&L. I bought my LBZ for 29k out the door. It had 40k miles on it. I made the dealer take the hit on TT&L on it and My Magnum. I bought the Magnum new for 26 and the sticker said 35
