Popping when turning left

I am getting a popping noise when turning left. Does anyone have any idea what this might be or experiencing it yourself?

fill out your sig. do you have nerf bars that can cause it if they were not installed evenly. I had a problem like that and that is what it turned out to be.

Make sure to keep a check on your front hubs wheel bearings, does not take a whole lot for them to go out.

I would say wheel bearings as well. seems to happen on trucks more often than cars. That or could it be a ball joint? Anyone know of a bad ball joint making that sound?

Wink Could be anything....

I have to say I was real pleased when I bought my new tires Saturday, the shop let me go inside and check hubs, brake pads, etc.[Everything looks good, hubs, pads, ball joints,54k and counting..] While they had it on the lift.If you ask real nice, they should have no problem letting you check it.I was able to check over mine with a flashlight as the tire guy mounted my tires..

I have the same noise. Mine has 9K miles. I mentioned it to the dealer but They have been unable to fine the problem(I doubt if they could find a anything if there wasn't a TSB on it). Ive had my truck to the dealer 3 times since new and every time had work done half a$$ed.

Anyway I am curious as to what it might be.

Cool check shaft condition and age/probly needs attention

The steering intermediate shaft is often overlooked or neglected.I am not saying that's it for sure, but it is where I'd look first..

My truck is a 07.5 LMM bone stock. Not a single modification. No nerf bars or anything. I only have 12000 miles on the truck and it has been doing this for the last 1000 miles. I am afraid this is going to be another issue that the dealer is unable to fix. I have also had the starter grinding sometimes when I turn over the truck. I have been to two different dealers on that issue and no luck. They tell me that it needs to happen at the dealer so that they can identify the problem. I believe when that is the case, it will be when it is towed in because it won't turn over!

I've had the same problem with the starter grinding and not engaging. It only does it once in a while and never when I take it to the dealer. They said that if they can't witness the problem they won't pursue it. I have no faith in the dealers ability to do anything right on my truck.
