Block Heater Operation??

Does the blockheater on these trucks work at all temperatures or is it similar to my wifes Trailblazer and only kick on when the outside temp drops to -18c ?

Plug it in = it's on. Don't think it's any different for the LML.

Mine was coiled up next to the fuel filter on the back side of the plastic wheel well liner. Kind of hard to see.

I think I have posted this before but I would advise using a 10 or 12g ext. cord. I have burned up others ie: 14/16g before. Not sure if the book recommends a specific cord or not but I have found those to work the best.

Easiest way to find it is to remove the fender liner. It will be right in front of your face, can't really miss it. Up and to the left of the fuel filter. Then run it where you want. I did it that way and had enough cord to run about 2' past my bumper, but coiled it up there. I tried finding in under the hood but couldn't see shyte.
