Yes, I think there was another thread here or on another forum, that stated it was removed because of the upgraded components on the front end.

Would I need to remove my skid plate to install a steering stabilizer?

Gm did mine under warrenty for me. Huge difference in the steering bump.

Yeah. Four bolts. Takes about 90 seconds.

Got re imbursed for the cost of the stabilizer from dealer today after a discussion on how i thought it should have come with the truck. I'm happy with that.

Well, I called my dealer and they are going to check on it for me...they said they had never heard of it being covered under warranty. I will post again when I get an answer.
