| front axel leak while installing my steering shock I noticed a oil leak on the front diff on the long side (pass) where the axel is bolted to the diff with 14000 miles on mine I need to take in asap I never have good luck with new vehicles and you guys with out the warranty may want to keep a close eye on that

| Mine isn't dripping but it is def gear oil coming out, same place too

| I just had mine replaced the dealer said it is a defective seal and had to order a new one it took three days to get in. |

| Seals are wearing at 14K, That's always a comfortable thought. 54K for a truck, and a 2 dollar part giving way  |

| my passenger side axle seal went at around 7k...the tech i had do the work at GMC is a good friend of mine, and said it appeared it was not assembled correctly from the factory.... |

| Just noticed that my passenger side seal is leaking as well. I have 65,000kms on my 2011 3500. I wonder if it is covered under the power train warranty or if there will be a recall? |

| I just spoke with the dealer about mine leaking as well.. I didn't even get the chance to explain what was leaking .. He cut me off and laughed and told me exactly what was leaking.. Apperently it is very common on the newer trucks
