DPF Delete results and input??

I would like to hear feedback on what ACTUAL results guys are having with DPF deletes especially on the LML's. Alot of BS out there as far as results. I have recently begun the research into whether or not I will do this to my LML.

dont remember the exact numbers. but if you could ride in one thats been deleted, you would do it in a heartbeat. my mileage isnt alot better (cuzz im still leadfootin it) but still about 3mpg more, and a hell of alot more throttle response, especially on the low end where it seemed to lag before quite a bit

What he said ^^^. I've also seen about a 3 mpg increase, but i'm staying on the mild tune. The hotter the tune, the better the fuel economy. But, and that's a big but, the throttle response and surge of power that you now get out of pushing that little rubber/plastic piece in the floorboard, well, is unbelievable. Night and day difference.

That is great feedback at 3 MPG. I was talking with a Cummins mechanic and he was stating little to 1 MPG for Duramaxes!!? I figured it a biased response from a Ram Head!
3 MPG is worth it let alone the extra oomph!!!

Yeah, those cummins guys. Can't seem to get it right? I bet he voted for Obama too..... Anyway, lol, let's change subjects here. Yep, 3mpg is very safe numbers. Some guys that run straight to the hot tune, see as much as 5-6 mpg gains. I went from 13.5, to over 18 while running the hot tune. Dropped back to the mild tune, and I see 15.5-16.

totally agreed. i still have a little lead foot too, but am still seeing about 3mpg average better on my LMM. Especially with you're fuel rail plugged and a lift pump, you'll see way more throttle response.
