| New to Duramaxs Just traded in my 2011 Ram for a 2011 Denali HD Truck has the following mods: H&S MiniMaxx 5" Exhaust 9" Cognito 37" Toyos CAI AMP Steps EGR and DEF are unplugged but not removed any issues with this? Turbo back exhaust so no DPF. What things should I know about? Motor? Drivetrain? Recalls? Etc? Ill post pics later. Does anyone have a service schedule? Truck only has 19k miles on it. Any information is appreciated last 5 diesels were Rams with the Cummins so I'm brand new to GMC Thanks |

| Might wanna check the rear diff., prob needs changed to get the nasties out if it hasn't been done, same goes for the fuel filter & trans spin-on. save money for lift pump if you run it hard with the minimaxx. change the trans spin-on every 10k or when changing oil (at least every other oil change)....and welcome! hope you like your truck

| Congrats and enjoy. Lots of good info on here, lots of B.S too. The current LML Duramax is very reliable, and is the best diesel to choose from currently. When you are number 1 there will always be trolls and jelous posters trying to say otherwise, read between the lines and you will be fine.
