I start running mine as soon as I notice that my truck isn't hitting 181 by the time I get to work which is about 8-10 miles from my home. Its typically when the temperatures are in the 30s and below. The weather fluctuated really bad and we had some days that hit the mid 60s while I had the winterfront on. The truck ran a little warmer but never really got over 190 during normal driving. You will notice the tranny temps do get a litter warmer, a little quicker when your running a winterfront in warmer weather.
