Best oil to use in 2012 Duramax

Getting ready to change the oil in my new 2012 Duramax and wanted to see what everyone else is running? Thinking about going amsoil because I've always heard nothing but good things. I've ran royal purple in the past with great results. Just wanted to get some informed opinions.
Thanks in advance

Don't use royal purple oil. Their other fluids are okay. I prefer straight vegetable oil myself.

We are on the same page. Seeing the same topic show up every couple weeks is a pain.

Glad to see you can take the time to be a bunch of smart asses and not answer the question. Sounds like a few of you need to get a life, not everyone that comes on this site knows every thread by memory.
I'm sorry I wasted my time!

I use Mobil Delvac 1300 but any decent CJ-4 oil will do fine in you change it regularly and run a decent filter.
