Transmission Bang

Anyone have any occurrences where the transmission randomly bangs on level ground? I was going 60-65 with the cruise set and out of the blue, transmission banged so violently that I thought something dropped out of the bottom of the truck or I ran something over. I was in 5th gear when it happened and had the cruize set. I am 100% positive I didn't drive over a pothole and I didn't smoke a deer or anything like that. It did it 3 more times and has not done it in 1500 miles. Dealer drove it, found no codes, and can't find anything wrong. I have just over 10k miles. The shifts have been getting smoother overtime and especially since I took it down to Texas and back.

I bet it was a 6th to 5th down shift with very little throttle. Mine does it. If your in 6th and stomp it it or at 0 throttle it doesn't but with 1/4 throttle or less its pretty bad. Dealer said mine was fine but I disagree. Couple threads on this a while back where some guys got updates on computer and fixed it but mine was already at the latest firmware.

When you load your tune there's an option to reset transmission on your xrt. You will then do your 3 runs on hot/performance to give your tranny a baseline. It will then learn based on your driving habits.
