bad map sensor

truck went into limp mode today and i had a p0107, the dealer gave me one out of a new truck on the lot and fixed it right there. the turbo sounded crazy too i guess f/a mixture was off haha. it smoked alot too. anyone had this problem.

11 lml. Alligator downpipe. 5" mbrp. 22" rims. H&s minimax. Afe cold air intake. 165 ad ll

Do you have an oiled filter? They can wreak havoc on the MAP sensors.

chevytuff, I think you mean the MAF sensor (mass air flow) rather than the MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor.

no it was the map sensor, the little one. i ordered a new one for the truck on the lot.it was 36 bucks, the code that came up was manifold absolute pressure.
