6.6 LGH Duramax

Alright I got a 2011 and a 2012 cab and chassis flatbeds and they have LGH Duramax motors, not LML. I looked it up and basically it's a de-tuned LML. The differences is are, 335hp 685ftlb torque, higher EGR cooling capacity, Revised turbocharger and Larger capacity SCR system (whatever that is). We wanna pull a few more horses out of the 2011 since we just got are 12 back from the place that builds are flatbeds. Will LML mods work the same on this LGH? No extreme mods since they get worked everyday and we take them to Oklahoma every winter, can't risk a break down. Just want maybe DPF Delete, COld air intake and a tuner? Any info helps. Thanks!

I hear the 2013 cab/chassis will get the same motor as the pickups including the hp/tq levels

That would be sweet.yeah o well. We also have an 03 07 and an 09 duramax and were gonna get rid of are 03 next year and buy another and trading the 09 in on an ext cab next year so hopefully they will change something on these cab and chassis.. But emmissions and restrictions just another way for the government to keep there fingers in everything.

The H&S tuners will work on the LGH Duramax no problem.

Didn't someone on here get the dealer to put a LML tune in their cab/chassis? Said the extra 40 horse was worth it.

there you go 40hp and keep your warranty
you do that realize any delete or tuner voids it

Yeah 40 or 50hp increase would be worth it but my dad don't want gauges or monitor or anything like that. Back in 03 dad got some kind of square box plug in under the hood programmer from BD and when he brought it in for warranty work he just took it out, it worked and wondering if there's anything like that out there still for LMM or the LML/LGH?

theres only a couple 'canned' tuners for LMLs right now, and theres no 'just take it back out', u can put it back to stock at anytime but it leaves history in computor which =voided warranty (depending on what u have to have warrantied..they may still fix a power seat, but powertrain problems become urs)but what LBZDURAMAX was talking about is Dealer may be able to reprogram (for a fee) to bump up figures which=still warrantied. i voided mine at about 400 miles...no regrets YET
