H&S Confusion

I was looking at buying the mini max cause at some point I will want to do the deletes. What I am confused about is there are multiple sites saying you can run the mini max with DPF intact. Is this true? If so ill buy one for now that way I can do the deletes later cause I know the government is trying to shut these types of tuners down.

Your best bet is to buy everything and then put it on at a time you feel comfortable with. Your fuel mileage with DPF present tuning will get worse most likely because of more regens. If you are gonna tune, might as well go all the way. Once you tune it whether its DPF present of removed the dealer can tell. SO, GO ALL OR NOT AT ALL is my opinion. I'm sure many would agree with my logic.

2011 LML- H&S Motorsports CP3 over CP4 kit w/tunes from Kory Willis , 17x9 XD Misfits, 285-70-17 Cooper AT's, Spray on, tool box/50 Gallon Auxillary, tint all around, Ride Rite bags, Ride rite compressor system,H&S Mini Max, Cobalt Pyro, ready lift keys, 5" MBRP straight piped, Rare Part Tie rods, Cognito UCA's, Bilstein 5100's, Fass Titanium 150, ADP downpipe, EGR delete from ADP and Proflow up pipes and manifolds.

To be installed: Built Tranny from Calvins and custom compounds.

Gotta love being a Directional Driller.

well I already have prices for the mini max + unlock code + 4" ss exhaust. So I want to do it but may not install for a little bit at least until the bumper to bumper is up. I was just curious if it was possible to run the H&S with DPF intact. Thanks for the input

It's possible but not recommended.

If I had to do it all over again, I would have gotten the XRT pro and done a three gage setup vs the minimax.

I ran my minimax with the DPF intact for some time and never had any problems... but must say... wasnt I impressed once I removed it all... WOW

2012 CC LB
Bushwacker fenderflares
Century camper shell
Cool Dual 4inch Exhaust
LED Grille lights
Mini max tuner AND!!! DPF Delete
Tub slide out tool box drawers
WISH LIST IS GETTING SMALLER
Amosoil Oil flitration system

35inch AT's and the list goes on and on

I would buy it now, and if you are wanting to keep your warranty a little longer don't install it now.
