Help me out deciding between 4" or 5" Exhaust.

Ok guys I just got my Mini Maxx today and will be getting a complete exhaust when I get in from this hitch offshore.
I have been trying to decide between Pro Flo and MBRP exhaust and 4 or 5 inch...
I was told today by one of our vendors that he would run MBRP because it seems a little nicer built but would run 4" because the LML's seem to lose a little low end with the 5".
I will be towing a camper and equipment trailer so I want all the low end I can get but was looking forward to the lower tone of the 5" straight pipe....
Also I was leaning towards no muffler...your experiences with this as well if you would.

I talked to MBRP today and they should have a wrapped down pipe out by the first of the year as well......

Diamond eye or Flo Pro any day over MBRP. I chose 5" simply for the sound but go on YouTube and see what sounds best to you.

I have 5" Flo Pro with muffler, and dumped over my rear axle and love it.

Not so sure about losing low end torque though. I have my stock tune with the delete, and didn't notice a loss of power at all.

I was worries about too much can noise with the 5" (had 4" on my ford 6.0), but there isn't much until you get up around 1900-2000rpm. I cruse at about 1700-1800rpm on hwy.

Also, not sure how much of a difference it makes with or without the muffler on the 5"...my muffler is straight through with some perforations on the sides.

The muffler doesnt make that big a difference, I like my MBRP as for the others I couldnt tell since I have never had them. The profab downpipe fit like a glove and was easy to put on just my .02

I have flo pro an it is a really nice kit. I went with 4" because on my lbz I had 5" an it droned on the freeway. I heard an lml with a 5" an i love the sound, with 4" you have a lot more vacuum nose.

I noticed that my LML blocks outside noises more than my dad's LLY, although it could be mostly from the quieter LML engine. Can anyone with a 5" straight pipe on their LML comment on the in-cab drone? I had an 05 gas job with a flowmaster and duals + a CAI. The drone was horrible at certain speeds and I swore I'd never setup a truck like that again.

backpressure is a turbo's worst enemy, the 5" won't cause loss of power down low over a 4". That bein' said, it won't give you more power on a LML either as we are still limited on amount of hp these things will make...It comes down to what sound you are looking for

Only difference is sound. I like my 4" because there is no drone compared to by buddies 5" but the 5" looks way bigger! Haha
