Beyond that the next challenge is how to deal with the tranny (Mike L will be of great help here). Once you have that licked, I think you'll be home free as essentially you'll have a full LMM transplant in your NBS and will be the envy of many as you drive around in your 2011 EFI tuned truck.

| shit id drop a 7.1stroker so cal motor in it, sdp tripples 100% nozzles tiwn cp3's and a full built MikeL tranny.. youd be talking 1300+ possible hp,, now to come across 30+g's thats laying around.. but when i do thats the route i think im taking.. imagine a DD truck like that.. edit: hp numbers might be off but with that i dont see how you couldnt come up with that kind of numbers.

| yes I think thats all as long as the turbo will work to and all the other stuff plugs in the same.

| I would drag my feet a bit and see what happens before trying to pop a LMM in there. Even if the harness fits, you will end up with com issues between various modules...TCM for one...if you change the TCM then have to change the trans. Then there's the stabilitrac and BCM..I thought I read that its been done but sounds like a total pain. On the other hand I'm saying this without knowing your capabilities

| can i ask why you just don't buy an LMM? you can put an LML grill and bumper on and it will look the same, not only that it will save you a lot more coin$$$$ sounds like you are building a beast. but you could be shooting your self in the foot if some of this stuff doesn't work out like your expecting

| Sounds like someone has way too much money to know what to do with. Why stroke the engine? It's a waste unless your sled puling, and even the OEM displacement engines are making the same power. The LML block has been used in sled pulling since 2009 IIRC, it's nothing special.. The Dirty Hooker was running one before Tony sold it. Good luck on your engine build, but I seriously think your wasting your time and money on a platform that has yet to break 700rwhp because of very limited tuning. Yeah H&S says "LML performance is coming" yet their getting shafted by the EPA, uh, right now... |
