You plug the micro sd card into an adapter, which wasn't included but I had one lying around, and plug the sd card into your PC. Then, download the updater tool from the H&S website and follow the instructions. Then, you have to plug the sd card into the tuner and plug it into your OBD port in your truck to update the software. You don't have to tune your truck, though, just have to get power to the tuner to update it.

I might just bite the bullet and get my exhaust and tuner installed next week. Then, cross my fingers for 79K miles and hope I don't have any power train issues.

i got the alligator and had to beat the crap out of it just to get it on in the first place. i hoped for the best that it was off of the wall enough not to be hitting but i have not looked at the up pipe to see if it might be hitting that. i have a lot of noise coming from up their at diff times and it is worrying me, this is my first performance mod on one.

my problem was with the files on the sd card the tuner would not pick them up kept giving error code. i had to put four files that h&s told me to put on their then that got me to the menu. i then had to got back and upload the rest of the files on the sd card and it got all the way to the dpf removal part and throwed another error code for that file. H&S got me fixed up with the files this morning and it worked fine after that

Dang man! We ordered the same day and mine came in today what gives!?!?

Got 5" flo pro and a insight CTS coming this week!

Think I'm going to just jump in and do it in a few weeks!

I thought about doing it myself, but I have a buddy who owns a shop that said he would do it for a very reasonable price. He has lifts and all the tools, too, and has done DPF deletes before. I figure it would be better to let a professional handle this.

I thought about getting mine done next Friday, so we won't be too far off. Only thing I am kind of worried about is getting inspections, but my buddy said he never had a problem getting his LMM inspected.
