Congrats! I ordered my delete kit a couple of weeks ago for the same reason. Still haven't put it on yet, but it is nice to know I have the option.

you should have bought them all and waited a month and sold them yourself.

A few years ago I was looking for a new landing jack motor for my 5th wheel camper. I looked in all the spots I knew to look(ebay, amazon, camping world, ect.) I just happened to stumble upon a website for the company that makes them, and bought a BRAND NEW motor for less than 1/2 the price people were getting on ebay for a USED one. Can you believe that? I was floored.... I was totally inclined to buy 10 of them and sell them on ebay for less than other people were selling used ones for, but I never did.

My point is, supply and demand is a bitch! Just because they are discontinuing a product, does that warrant them doubling the price? My example wasn't really a supply and demand situation, but rather an incedent where people just didn't have a clue, but you get what i'm saying.

I just ordered mine last Friday for the same reason, not sure when I'm gonna install it though, I got only 23k miles on it, not sure I want to lose my warranty yet.

Same. Just bought mine last week and is in the same position as everyone else. When to void the warranty and do the deletes!

got mine mini a few weeks ago and finally today got it working. i had all kind of trouble out of it reading the sd card. put my down pipe and full 5" flow pro exhaust on sat and when i finally got to crank the truck today it was something. at the back it sounds like a air leak when idling . driving down the road it is loud inside the cab now (partly because down pipe i think is hitting the firewall) and every time i let out of the throttle it makes a funny noise and gets loud. you can also hear the turbo a lot more with the down pipe on it.

Just a heads up...

The H&S tuner comes with 3 settings for DPF in place and 4 settings with DPF removed. Do NOT run it unless you use the DPF remove setting and actually have the DPF removed. I did not want to jump in with both feet yet on my '13 LML and so I ran the milder settings with the DPF in place. Because of the hotter tune it pushed more soot into the DPF and clogged it up within a thousand miles. It put me into limp mode late at night out on the road away from home. I reset it to stock, removed the mini max and tucked it safetly under the back seat then limped it into a dealership the next morn. They said the DPF had 92 grams of soot and the regen usually kicks in at 40 something. They tried 2 or 3 regens and burned almost a tank of fuel. Finally they reset the computer because they said the code did not match factory code... wonder why ;-). They warned me that if it had a tune in it it would void the warranty.

I have heard lots of stuff about the DPF regen causing unburnt fuel to end up in the oil pan. One Amzoil rep said they regularly see 10% and up to 13% diesel in oil when they do testing on these new trucks.

I'm on the fence but thinking hard of doing the delete and hope for the best. I havent heard of anything good that the DPF does for the engine only harmful stuff. I cant see the benefit in burning more fuel to make cleaner exhaust. Stupid government mentality.

I am interested to find out whose down pipe you bought. Alligator or Diamond Eye? I have Diamond Eye and it cleared my firewall by an inch. No vibrating on the firewall at all. You may want to make sure that you do not have it touching the passenger side up pipe bellows. This is a possibility. Can you get a mirror and look back there? f it is touching just rotate it a little outwards and it'll clear.
Alternatively I have read where Alligator's down pipes may be a little bigger as they come out the back of the turbo and take just that little bit more space and touch the firewall. If that's the case its time for a 2 x 4 and pry-bar. Bend that firewall back to clear it away.

I had the same issue with the SD card while trying to update the software. I had to put slight pressure on the card with my finger when plugging it in to get it to recognize the SD card.
