| after the update today got the dreaded error 0. didn't have time to call or work it out and only have macs at home. is formatting the disk the only way to fix this.

| it has happened to me each time I've updated. First time I called H&S and they told me to do the same thing mentioned before... copy, format, paste blah blah... It's a bug in their updater software. If I had to guess they are calling a deprecated/wrong API to do the writing to the SD card. BTW there is an alternative method to doing the update here. If you do it this way you will also have a "history" of all the updates.
