S&B Paper filter

Just curious to know, how many miles/how often are y'all replacing your paper filter? I travel a lot of dirt/gravel roads and my filter is beginning to look alittle dirty. Probably have 5k miles on filter. Thanks!

I had 10k when i changed mine. I went a oiled but i think i am going to go back to paper for summer

i went with the paper as well but have no miles on it yet. i had 20000 on my stock filter and it was very very dirty but i am in dirt almost every day. i am thinking i will blow it out at around 10 or when it looks dirty and change it at 20. i know on our heavy equipment we can blow em out a couple times before with replace and they are paper.

Careful blowing out filters, you can destroy the filter with pressurized air very easily.

agreed. but we still do it on our equipment that runs in very dusty conditions. some machines in certain conditions get blown out every day. a new filter a day on multiple machines would get very costly. take time to shake out the bulk of the dirt and then be sure to blow the opposite direction of the air flow.

How do you like your oiled filter? Compared to the paper one? Did you ever have any MAF sensor problems?

I have the fabric installed over the filter
