New truck purchases with GM

Anything to watch for as far as rebates you recommend or rebates they dont advertise but many people qualify for? Or if you purchased a new truck recently what kinda payments are you facing? im thinking a good portion down when i buy mine but not sure how to calculate the payment, obviously interest rate affects that but ball park would be good. I have a goal of getting my new 63k ish truck to under 400 a month when i purchase. trying to figure out what i need down, and i qualify for veteran rebates and the prior gm rebates so thats a good chunk off the top. Maybe someone is really good with numbers could give a rundown, what to expect or not to expect?

Thanks for all the input.
Scott.

You would have to finance somewhere in the Ball park of 25k to 30k around 410 to 450 payment... Thats based on pretty good credit and 72 month financing... I can tell you an exact but really comes down to Price before tax, Rebates and all that good stuff.

Here you go an easy to use calculator. I just bought a 2012 loaded truck that was 65k sticker. You should be able to get at least 10k or so off sticker with rebates and all. I think that I paid around 54k.

Exact number is $16.67 a month per $1000 borrowed, this is on the promo 0% rate 60 month financing that you may have seen. You get no other GM factory assistance with this offer, if I remember correctly.

I was able to get my Denali for around 47K. The truck stickered at $64K, there was a $2750 trade in bouns which they gave me $14K for my 03, another $6K in discounts which brought the price down to $43,900. After taxes and purchasing the $2600 Major Guard bumper to bumper warranty, my out the door price was $49K. I was able to also get the 0% for 72 month financing. The major guard is something you do not need to get. I have had it on all my trucks and it paid for itself on my last two trucks. The plan I bought was 7yr/84K miles with a 0 deductable.

I also had a tax ID from my old consulting company that I own. I gave the number to the salesmen and he was able to get me a free $500 Lowe's gift card with the purchase of the truck.

I don't think i will go with the extra warranty just gap insurance. And i don't wanna give up my 07.5 after all the money i got into it.

Here are the current offers from GM on that truck, which may vary with your location.

2012's - $2,500 consumer cash or 0% for 60 months

2013's - $2,000 consumer cash or 3.9% for 60 months

I just bought a 2012 Chevy LTZ, opted for the 0% for 60, no other offers were available, since I was not trading anything in.

I am holding tight, going to decide after I see what they offer up for information on the 13th. Really hoping for better incentives / extra gm card cash as year wraps up or might as well wait on new truck I figure.

Just spent 1k in repair / maint on my Trailblazer SS. Needed and o2 sensor, tranny, diff, coolant, and oil change. Fun fun, renting so no garage at the moment and not into screwing around outside in WI in December.
