The next step in Diesel emissions is 2014 so you will see the next Duramax and HD trucks redesign come out early to mid 2014 as a 2015 model year; just like they did with the 2010 emissions step bringing them out early 2010 as 2011 model years.

only reason im even concerned is because im in the process of buying a 12'-13' denali but hate to if new ones are within months of coming out. would lose my ass buying now and trading back in, in the fall. but I don't wanna wait for a new pickup awhole year or more. im a typical man, when we want something we want it now! especially toys!

No its not. Its 2016 model year.

Im sorry, but you're wrong. The 2014 HD will have the new body with the 2011-2013 LML carryover engine/trans/drivetrain/frame/chassis. And it will be out sometime before the end of this year (2013).

Could you give me a link or something showing the steps? I'm apparently not typing the right keywords to find what I'm looking for. I've always thought the NOx reduction steps were years 2004, 2007, 2010, 2014, 2018, 2020, and 2023.

I know for a fact that the local truck plant will start full production of the HD CC in Flint, July 2013
The line is done now and next week 2 shifts of 2014 prototypes will be built about 50 trucks most crew cabs and some standard cabs
I have a neighbor that is installing the new line and another that builds trucks on the line
they both said they would update me on any new stuff like motors, trans, and options,
I could even get some phone photos

GM has yet to make a end of 2013 production date yet on HD trucks, I have a VERY hard time believing that the HD's will be swapping to the new bodystyle anytime soon.

I would have thought if they were that ready to produce the Hds they would have unveiled them at the same time.

2013's HDs end at the normal time, end of June
both lines are ready to run, and chassis line is the same for both lines
we should see the K2XX at the Detroit auto show in a few weeks
