| Need color match help--lml (gmc) specific Need some help from the forum... I'm looking to color match the truck. I'm wanting the grille surround, front bumper and rear bumper caps matched. Ive been to 3 paint/body shops. One said he could strip/paint the chrome but highly suggested I get the paintable front bumper. The other 2 won't touch any of the chrome and require me to get the paintable denali rear caps, paintable front bumper purchased already) and could NOT do the grille surround. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to buy the rear bumpers caps if I don't have to. I purchased the front because after reading the forum, this might cut down on chips. Also, there are 2 backup sensors. You have the inner circle and the donut ring. ((o)) Which part is the actual sensor? Is it just painted silver and can it be stripped or do I have to buy a black sensor like the 2 inner sensors? I've searched and can't find my answer so sorry for another color match thread. I've been referencing this thread for help, does he have the sensor surround black? Or is the sensor the inner part that is color matched? LML Exterior Update:

| Is the sensor integrated or can it be removed for replacement? I would try to take it out and see. I would imagine that you can paint over them, they're body color in other vehicles from the factory.

| The center portion is the parking sensor, and you can paint everything on the sensors just dont get the paint too thick. They are correct on the adhesion of the chrome parts, but you can get them sandblasted and then paint them and they will be fine. |
