just leave it tow mode while hooked up. It does not lock out overdrive. You can use the manual overdrive lock out when climbing steep inclines so you're not shifiting in and out of overdrive all the time. AS far as transbreaking on the down hill side, I've pulled 3500 rpm for short periods. When I got home I asked my buddy at a GM deakership about the high rpms and was told it was no problem. he said the red line on the tach is basically meaningless, the engine can more than handle it. |
