Sorry but the GMCELLV2 does not list 2007-up Chevy Truck in the application guide and is therefore incompatible.
Just to clarify, the harness is to be used with a Bluetooth car kit such as Parrot, Motorola etc.
You must purchase one of these Bluetooth kits and use the vehicle specific harness (i.e GMSS-3A) to connect it to the vehicle. The Bluetooth car kits connects to your phone via Bluetooth and mutes the stereo when a call is initiated or received.
It is not possible to use the GMCELLV2 or GMCSS-3A without an aftermarket Bluetooth kit.
Use the GMCSS-3A in 2007-up Silverado or Sierra (New body style) to connect Motorola IHF1000 or T605 Bluetooth car kits:
