| I've heard some not so good things about deleting the diesel particulate filter (DPF). I'm interested in increasing fuel mileage as much as possible without voiding the warranty.
Right now I'm averaging 15.7, which is the same as I was averaging in the Avalanche I just stepped out of. Issue is, diesel fuel is $0.40 more/gallon. To get roughly the same out of pocket costs, I would need to get right at 18 mpg.
I put a K&N filter in it, but I've never really noticed much of anything from those. Does seem a little more responsive though, but it may just be in my head. MPG dropped from 15.7 to 15.6 shortly after install. |
