| the maf is in the intake just behind the air filter if you have a stock intake.
i would say you having an egr is unlikely.
have you cleared the code? if you drive around with the check engine light on sometimes it will run differently causing the poor mileage.
get some of that CRC maf cleaner take out the maf (your gonna need a torex bit) and clean it with that stuff and see if it fixes the problem
