your 2500 will pull it fine, and brake safely, but, yes, you are over your payload a few hundred pounds. That is no reason to buy a dually. Air bags will help with the squat quite a bit.

IMO, as long as you dont exceed 6380lbs loaded rear axel weight, your fine.
AAM (rear axel) is rated for 10,900 lbs, and your way elow that weight.
