| I did a hand calculated 17.6 mpg last weekend on a 250 mile trip, running empty. We have a 9000# Travel Trailer and get 11-12 mpg towing. My truck is totally stock, and I'm ecsatic with these numbers. They are far better than the 04' Dodge 2500 QC w/ a 5.7 Hemi I had before this Awesome Chevy HD. In fact, my Dodge only got 11-12 mpg empty and 4.5-5mpg towing the same Travel Trailer. Not to mention the gutless nature and lack of torque that the Dodge had.
