I own a 2005 with a LBZ mouthpiece. I'm getting at least 13 mpg (Hand Calculated) towing my boat...approx 6500 lb. I tow at max 65 mph, but my truck still has the stock tires and stock height. On the freeway without towing anything I average over 20 mpg driving at 70 mph plus. I purchased my 05 used and luckily I purchased an extended warranty. The so called great Allison transmission self destructed within 2K miles. At least most of the cost of repairs are covered, and really can't complain since I have no idea how the truck was driven before I purchased it.
