| Just went and bought a new fuel filter so I will go out an install that and see what happens for now. I have been driving it around town all day on level 6 and it has just over 50 miles on that setting now. I see what my dad means though I punched it from a dead stop and it lagged then boost came on it hit second gear and you hear the tires trying to break loose but they dont really even come close. It sounds like when you are driving across sand on pavement and you hear that slight slipping sound. When he first had the kit I remember it would start spinning in first shift into second and keep spinning just before it shifted to thrid it would stop.
The tranny was a little on the warm side from stop and go in town. it was 190 degrees. And I think the next maintenance item I will take care of is Changing the transmission fluid. its the original fluid from 04 with about 24k miles or what ever it has now some where in that area. Truck was a 08/03 production so the fluid is getting close to 5 years old.
Oh on another note I did watch the trans slip gauge and going through the gears under full throttle 0 slip at all and when cruising at freeway speeds it read between 5-8 which from looking up on here is normal.
