That 5yr/100,000 mile should be transferrable and nothing for you to do. this is why i NEVER sign anything at the dealership. I always get pre-approved and work with the bank directly. Case in point...when i bought my truck the dealer got my rate at like 6.25. The going rate at the bank should have been about 5.85 or lower. I called the bank and they said they dont know how they came up with that number. they told me to apply online and see what it comes in at. I got my loan for 5.60 though the bank directly. All i had to do was get a loan for 1000 extra (i had to pay gap again so this went right back into it and they wrote me a check for the rest...actually i just applied the extra right back to the loan).

As far as GM certified...i think it is just a marketing scheme. There should also be a sticker on the truck if it is i believe.
