I did this mod to my intake, and it was really easy to do. I did not find the foam at Lowes, but I did find it at Ace Hardware. Removed the airbox and cut a nice hole in the leading side. Stuffed the foam and it almost looks factory. Had to make a trip of about 200 miles. Averaged about 18.3 the whole trip, according to the little lying computer on the dash. It did up my mileage about 1mpg. Good mod. Thanks for the idea.
