The trucks built before January 1st will not have the new emissions or ULSD on them. My dad went looking to buy a new one, and was told by the dealer that if he wanted a new truck, he better get one quick before they put all the new emissions equipment on. He ended up ordering one out about 3 weeks ago...on the condition that it must be one built before January. I was surprised to hear that his new truck will be in by the first week of December! And I always thought it took longer to have a truck built to order!
As for low fuel mileage, remember your engine is not even fully broken in at your current mileage. Look for your numbers to increase as all the parts "get to know" each other!
