ques 1 1-2 mpg increase with amsoil is my experience
ques 2 I do not have belt noise but in my past experience a good quality new belt resolve that problem.

ques 3/4 Advise from a lube guy is never that great. Corvettes and other gm vehicles come with synthetic fluid from factory. As long as you change it often, dino oil is great, synthetic offers longer life and better protection than most dino oils.
