A programmer that has the dpf delete option is mandatory. Outside of custom tuning, the best programmer for that is the Edge Evolution Race programmer. It is the one i use and i have been pleased with it. It has good and smooth power and the transmission shifts very well. The only other ones i know of that have a dpf delete option are the PPE Hot+2 and the Quadzilla Stealth 2. The Evo also disables the EGR valve from opening and recirculateing exhaust gasses back through the motor. It has the capability to pull and delete most trouble codes and will prevent the CEL light from coming on due to deleteing the dpf and the programmer also has built in guages that show many perameters in a digital lay out.
