| Your truck is monitered by sat signal. They are not looking for a programer or anything like that, all they are doing is monitering you oil, air bags and crap like that hoping if there is a problem you will take it back to the chevy dealer to get it fixed. When your truck gets stolen and they cant find it cause you diconected onstar that would just suck. Any ways if your truck is older than 03 and you did not do the up grade you have nothing to be afraid of. The upgrade canges it from cell signal to sat signal.
