| I have aux. tanks in both my 06 short bed and my 08 flat bed. 08 has a wedge 55gal tank and the 06 has a toolbox fuel combo. I ordered them and installed them with a aux. fuel pump. Have a maunel shut off valve if I need it but the aux. pump works great. I have a little togle switch in the cab that I can flip on while going down the road and in 20 min. I have another full tank. I pull goosenecks all week long and the added drive time without stopping for fuel has been great. I cant immagine not having the extra capacity. I bought the fuel pumps from kragen for about $40 and then went to home depot for the fuel lines and parts, total cost for parts was about $75. An easy half day project. |
