| "New" Dmax owner in Oregon
I recently bought a used '04.5 GMC LLY and plan on using it mainly to tow an Arctic Fox 5th wheel, about 10K# loaded. I'm hoping this truck will last longer than I do. The last GM diesel I owned was one of the ill-fated 350 gas conversions from the late 70s. Swore I'd never buy another GM diesel product, but I think the Isuzu/Allison combo is hard to beat. I'm hoping this forum will help in the proper care & feeding of my "new" truck. Even though opinions are like.....well, you know.... I welcome any and all ideas on keeping it running forever.
