Hey guys whats up? Yeah i always purge for at leats about 3-5miles before shutting down, unless im just running in the store or somthing but you know.

The golden fuels systems kit doesnt have any provision for cooling the FICM. I think i read that for the LBZ engines its no longer cooled by fuel. BUT im not sure. If you or someone DOES know for sure PLEASE let me know. I dont want to be deepfrying my FICM, and its somthing i worry about alot. The GFS pretty much just taps in after the stock fuel filter in the rubber hose right before the shreader valve that sticks up. The more i read and learn about the stock fuel system the more i think there needs to be a way to regulate the temp of the oil rather then just heat-and-forget. To be honest (and im not terribly proud of this) i dont even know what the temp of the oil is. Id guess 150-180F being as it is heated by the engine coolant, and on warm days it gets pretty hot. And a problem i have with the GFS system is when you purge, the 6way valve switches supply and return at the same to so any oil in the system that is going into the return line goes to the diesel tank.

And unfortunatley i havent been able to replace my fuel pressure regulator yet. but as soon as i do you guys will know.
