The factory filters are restrictive regardless of which filter it is, the 05 1/2' and newer LBZ's slightly less however. K&N has a drop in that works excellent!
im not one to try to tell someone that they are wrong, but i just wanted to say that the K&N does let oil past and it blows onto the MAF censor...i know this because i have the K&N filter on my LBZ, and ive had to clean the MAF censor a couple times dew to oil being blown onto it and minimizing peformance..and also throwing a code...other than that i like the K&N drop in filter, but will probebly by another stock ACDelco filter in the near future.
