| Yamaha, if the weight is looking like it will exceed your max rating,beware. I have a 5th wheel and a cabover, neither of which is close to the posted dry weight. They both weigh more. I had an 01 Dodge which I had done alot of engine improvements on only to discover that Dodge wasn't kidding when they said the tow rating was about 10,400 lbs. I turned the torque converter and input shaft blue by overheating the trans in death Valley (winter) because the trailer weighed sooo much(we were going to be there over new years eve!). The moral of the story is weigh the trailer and dont exceed the max rating! Dodge was kind enough to replace the trans, the truck was promptly traded for the DMax with the proper tow rating.
