| Yes, it will stay on until it is turned off. It will heat up the wiper fluid, spray it, the wipers come on and as soon as it has heated up some more fluid it sprays it. If your windshield is frosted/iced over it works great. If you accidently turn it on by having something sitting on the console slide into it, it can be confusing/aggravating.
