Not sure how set you are on fuel economy but a few guys on here say that the 285's KILLED there fuel mileage. Just my .02!
P.S.- the Michelin LTX M/S's on my 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee lasted 96,000 miles. They out lasted the trans! | When I bought my rig it had 265 Michelin LTX M/S on them so I can def say they are great tires!
I have 285 bfg A/T on my truck now.. just on my OE 16" My truck is a gold though so I want to move to a black wheels for a better look and I figure if I am going to buy new wheels then go for more inches... I like th way the 285's fill out the truck!
Thanks for the opinions guys! I want to make the best decision and I had heard good things about Nitto but it looks like I will stick with my BFG's!!
Who KnowS maybe I will put some 265 sticky rubber on the OE wheels for the strip!!
