| I run torque drive, works well. you'll see a drop in tranny temp running that. I talked to some techs at Stweart&Stevens a major Alli dealer, they said you dont have to change the internal filter. only when you rebuild the tranny. i had my tranny flushd by them and changed the external filter. FYI you can get the external filter from S&S for about 8 bucks, every were else I looked it was priced at 30 bucks and higher.
S&S told me runnig Transyn or what ever they call the Alli fluid, that My tranny would be good for 100k between servces. under severe service (stop and go short trips city driving) it would need to be serviced at 50 k 25 k if you run petro ATF. hope this helped. |
