honestly, unless you have a lot of time, money, and know how it would be better off just buying a truck with the duramax in it already. If you were to do this, I would make sure you have an allison to put behind that engine too. I would think that you could find a good used duramax powered truck for less than it would cost you to get all the stuff you need.....unless someone was going to give you a duramax engine. Sorry to sound negative on this, but that is a really big task to do. BTW, welcome to the forum!
