| BBail2X2 might try when shifting into 4lo to put transmission in neutral then shift transfer case into neutral, then put transfer case into 4low and then shift transmission into gear. Usually works with less bang to transfer case might hear alittle transfer case gear meshing when happens bu usually no bang. to transfer back go back in neutral in transmission to shift back to neutral or 4hi or low in transfer case ( to it when not moving or very slow moving) Just my .02 to save your tranfer case.
