I know where you're coming from. The first day after I bought my truck I had the same exact problem. I couldn't figure it out, so I went back to the dealer all pissed off that they sold me a lemon. Well, the salesman managed to find the fuse under the hood. I'm not sure which one it is, but your problem sounds exactly like mine. Let me know if you can't find it, and I'll try to look at mine.
